Firecracker Recordings is pleased to finally drop it's second serving
in the 10 Inch series. The first EP saw huge club support from DJ
Spinna, Danny Krivit, Ron Trent, Theo Parrish, Joe Claussell,
Osunlade and Derrick May amongst others of you who have been asking
for it... radio play on Gilles Peterson's 'Worldwide', Patrick Forges
'Cosmic Jam' and Michael Rutten's Compost radio show. Further afield,
Jazzy Sport in Tokyo picked up on the EP and led the rest of Japan to
search out the remaining copies... The second EP contains two main
tracks plus bonus beats and skits. Fudge Fingas, fresh from his
success with his 'Vin Landers vs Fudge Fingas' 'Many Hands EP' on
Surface Pressure Records drops the heavyweight 'Escape'. With samples
from cult TV series 'The Prisoner', huge synth lines and beats like
vintage Glenn Underground this is definitely odd house music - turn
it up!! Another one for the club, Linkwood's 'What's up with the
Underground?' is a no messin' jazz cut-up with extremely heavy brass
and beats... The Complainers must be getting homesick ... 'Bacon
Rolls'. Plus there's extra beats from 'What's up with the
Underground?', a bonus Firecracker skit and more dope artwork &
stickers ... the saga continues!!
