Negative aka Holmar Fillipson & Oliver Spencer (Fine,..) currently
NYC's most up to date Production Sqwad. "The Dance" , Thugfuckers
most positive (or most peculiar , I still don't know ;)) record to
date was actually recognized by one half of our A&R Team at a
Monday's afterhour Party to Popkomm 2004 at Tom Clark's House where
Greg Oreck gave it play for three to four hours until the attending
crowd finally started to like it. Afterwards he had a little less
luck as Tiefschwarz, Dj T., Mandy, Switch, Jesse Rose, HP Lindstrom
all turned down their remix request. Maybe this Carton of Japanese
Cigarettes we offered was just a little too less payrole in the end,
at least being pregnant with a beautiful electro dance record for
such a long time helped us convince MR Negative to finally agree the
release of their 2004 Remix which should have been side b in the
first place but was then called back because Liv Spencer didn't like
the lyrics or something! And finally , after a little more than 9
months , our baby was born and according to the tonation of our new
breed┤s main murmur we shall all join in and sing : "keep your hands
where your eyes are, fingers shut tight, let your hip move left and
right" but hey, hold on, we "want you to try a little harder, ok" ;)
