Harmony and rythm come gently together on this intriguing
collaboration between Berlin based electro-songster Morgenstern
and to Rococo Rot's Lippok. The seasons of the year are
presented charmingly out of sequence over the course of a four
track EP, each establishing its own quiet mood and subtle
nuances. 'Autumn' cracks, drips and fragments over gentle chord
progressions. A fat bass synth meshes with lazy keyboards and a
crooning wordless female chorus on 'Summer' before 'Spring'
gathers itself over acoustic guitars and delicately tuned,
echoing percussion. 'Winter', the longest of the four
compositions, is all tender spaces, blurred traces and haunted
distance, sounding a little like Tarwater in a pensive mood.
Ecpect a full-length release from these two some time in the
near future
