         █░█    Walter Meego crafts a sound that is at once        █░█
         █░█    unique and yet familiar, blending pristine,        █░█
         █░█    studio-grade beats, samples and a mixed bag of     █░█
         █░█    other sounds with live guitar, keys and vocals.    █░█
         █░█    Their newest single, æHollywoodÆ feels like an LA  █░█
         █░█    studio collaboration between Dizzie Gillespie and  █░█
         █░█    Daft Punk. Their history: Walter Meego was born    █░█
         █░█    in Champaign IL in 1998, joining a city packed     █░█
         █░█    with some of indieÆs most notable musicians at     █░█
         █░█    the time. So what is Walter Meego? Walter Meego    █░█
         █░█    is the alter ego of three artists who focus their  █░█
         █░█    creativity in to one single entity. Justin         █░█
         █░█    Sconza, Colin Yarck and Jarrett Speigel often      █░█
         █░█    perform DJ sets, acoustic shows and banginÆ        █░█
         █░█    electro rock shows. TheyÆve performed with the     █░█
         █░█    likes of Hot Chip, Caribou, Tom Vek, Hard-Fi and   █░█
         █░█    Cut Copy to name a few. The trioÆs attitude        █░█
         █░█    focuses on fun rather than worrying about the      █░█
         █░█    pressure of labeling themselves ôrockö or          █░█
         █░█    ôelectronicö, and on these tracks take the         █░█
         █░█    listener from the heavy emotions of Amon Tobin     █░█
         █░█    (see: æThrough a KeyholeÆ) and then twists them    █░█
         █░█    until they sound like the soundtrack to a sweaty,  █░█
         █░█    ass-shaking party where Frank Sinatra is just as   █░█
         █░█    welcome as Thomas Banghalter (see: æHollywoodÆ).   █░█
         █░█    Ultimately the boys just want to make music        █░█
         █░█    thatÆs fun for all those who listen. In their own  █░█
         █░█    words, ôwe want to make music thatÆs fun for       █░█
         █░█    everybody, even for cats and dogsö. ItÆs this      █░█
         █░█    approach combined with their obvious studio        █░█
         █░█    prowess that will leave listeners with a smile on  █░█
