also known as the pickapart EP
Neo-bluesmen on a Heavily Organic Bent, the John Butler Trio
Emerged in 2000 as the Wa Band-most-likely, and Followed Up on
that Promise with Performances on Stages from the Big Day Out to
the East Coast Blues and Roots Festival. An Original Hybrid of
Celtic, Rock, Folk and Porch Style-blues, this Trio is a Force to
Be Ignored at Your Peril.
With this EP and more importantly the song 'Pickapart', JBT found
huge national radio support and a larger audience growing at every
show they would perform, including huge crowds at the festivals
they would play throughout 2000. This EP features 4 songs, all
under 5mins which in itself is a rarity for JBT.
