"This division of Sub Rosa releases an increasing number of
interesting productions, as is the case with this new electronica
compilation. This disc is the testimony of two festivals held at
the BGtie in Geneva and Le Botanique in Brussels, where all the
groups on this compilation subsequently performed. The concept of
this project, which started in september 1999, was to bring
together various musicians to create music starting from a bank of
sounds (about fifty), chosen by Franz Treichler from the group The
Young Gods. The result is far from the electronic thrash by the
young Swiss gods, the musical content of this disc being rather
electronic and experimental. Robin Rimbaud (Scanner) is as the best
of his possibilities with his superb hypnotic title. The excursion
of To Rococo Belch is refined and moving. Bump & Grind are perhaps
the nearest to the sound of The Young Gods, at the same time
agitated and planing. An eclectic mixture of sounds and drum & bass
abstract by David Shea. Parasitic noises and electromagnetic
disturbances by Rehberg & Bauer de Mego. Illbient mixing ambient
experimental and soft hip hop by DJ Olive. Electronic emulsions of
pure ambient by Kreidler. Techno dub in Chain Reaction by Vincent
HΣnni (the revelation of the disc), a multi-instrumentalist from
GenΦve. Ending with the experimental noise from Hausen Stock &
Walkman. Copier/Coller is an excellent disc where the best
representatives of the digital era had fun assembling their own
     tracks with the same sounds."
