| SLID022 welcomes one of Ireland's finest DJs/producers to the Slide roster. |
| Chris began his career roughly ten years ago, DJ-ing pure house to a loyal |
| following in various venues in his hometown of Belfast. His aptly named |
| Sleuth night attracted the world's finest DJ/producers from the prog scene |
| running for four successful years until its demise in 2001. Presently Chris |
| resides over Rise in Belfast where his music style is an extremely unique |
| and eloquent mix of house and funked up tribal beats. It's worldwide where |
| Chris has really built up his fan base though and one look at his list of |
| gigs merely confirms this, from Kuala Lumpur to Amsterdam via Mexico. |
| |
| The step up to production has been more than a natural one for Chris, with |
| his productions and remixes perfectly complimenting his DJ-ing style with |
| almost thirty to his name. His tracks have proved to be a lot more than |
| just elements of his sets. Continued support from Satoshi Tomiie, Danny |
| Howells, Nick Warren, Danny Tenaglia, Tony Thomas and Tom Stephan to name |
| but a few, more than confirms this. |

| Appearances on major compilations such as Renaissance Masters, Seb |
| Fontaines Prototype 2 and Danny Howells Nocturnal Frequencies 2 as well as |
| compilations by Anthony Pappa, Slinky World Class, Privledge-Ibiza and many |
| more have further confirmed Chris's wide appeal and quality output. |

| More recently Chris has collaborated alongside Barry Gilbey (Mara) to |
| produce the monstrous 'Chunkafunk' on Choo Choo Records, which has gained |
| heavy support from the likes of The Plump DJ's and Meat Katie and was voted |
| Mixmag's essential new tune! Chris has also teamed up with Col Hamilton |
| (C64) and under the Hamilton: Cargo alias have released 'Broken Piano' on |
| Futureshock's new label Pravo which has gained big ups from the likes of |
| Steve Lawler, Nic Fancuilli and King Unique. Add to that the mighty |
| 'Cityscape' on Renaissance and 'Shift It' on Choo Choo and you can see why |
| Chris is widely regarded as one of Ireland's most promising producers. |

| 'Warning' is a tough, techy affair with menacing stabs that slice through |
| the mix and carry the track along nicely, with some very slick breakdowns |
| adding to what is a very tight and polished tune. The flip-side sees the |
| introduction of Slide boss Richard Fox's Parabola project, a showcase for |
| his more funky, electro offerings (check out the manic Moog-tweaking in |
| this one!). |

| WAVE format is pulse-code modulation (PCM) audio data. Since PCM uses an |
| UNCOMPRESSED, lossless storage method, which keeps all the samples of an |
| audio track, professional users or audio experts may use the WAV format for |
| maximum audio quality. |

| Audio CDs do not use WAV as their storage format. The commonality is that |
| both audio CDs and WAV files have the audio data encoded in PCM. WAV is a |
| data file format for computer use. As we can see WAVE data is equal to CD! |
