I like this vinyl, I like this very much.
I prefer the flipside though, has a little bit more
of that stripped-down, rawer choppaged drumfunk vibe to it
than the A side (at least to me), but that said the A is
still a very tidy little track.
NOTES: to those who are disappointed by the amount of
cereal on this recording (snap, crackle and pop
overdose), it's not my fault. Honest. This is the
second time I've ripped a vinyl distributed by
L.O.A.D. Media which is awfully pressed. There's
physical damage on the surface of the vinyl which
runs in straight lines towards the centre of the
vinyl, almost like it was pressed using worn plates,
or the pressed vinyls had been damaged in storage /
transit. I dunno, but this sound was the best I could
get, even after extensive click & pop removal, and
going through by hand and sorting some of the more
troublesome sections out.
You lot should just be glad that people like me do
this for the love of it, if I had a penny for every
time I fixed a crackle in this release I'd be pissed
as a fart by now.
