Release Notes:
Natasha Thirsk of The Dirtmitts, re-emerges as Catlow. The debut album, Kiss the
World, is chock-a-block with instantly accessible melodies and eccentric charm
to win over fans of Rilo Kiley, Blonde Redhead and The Breeders.
"Her breathy voice and spiky guitar noise would fit on any Blonde Redhead tune.
Thirsk could probably craft an enchanting album just off that one reference
point, but she goes further, including a fair helping of melodic pop in the vein
of early Liz Phair, Throwing Muses and Veruca Salt."
