Starting in 2004 with a trip to Portland Oregon, these four musicians from
across the U.S. put together their first stamp in the national rock music scene.
During that trip to Portland record with Craig "Lord" Alvin (Athlete, Eisley,
Graham Colton, Colour Music, etc) the band recorded their first national release
entitled "Time And Space". ôBeing together in Portland really birthed the sound
of the band,ö says bassist Jared Ashcraft. ôWe found our own niche, genuine to
who we really are.ö The band then began to tour and sold 10,000 records on their
own and the album started to show up on CMJ Radio 200, getting played on over
130 stations around the country.
A year and a half later with a new guitarist under their belt and an ever
settling sense of self, the band went back to where they were first inspired, to
record "Waiting For Tomorrow" to be released in April 2006. Again, there was
magic. "For the new record we tracked all the instruments live and stayed away
from layering guitars and over producing. Over all, we just focused on writing
the best and truest songs we can and singing them with all that we have."-Marsh
Shamburger, lead vocalist says of the differences in the new music. "These songs
were written and toured on and changed from night to night in response to the
way they made us feel." With the lyrical sense of growth in the bands music
there is a parallel sense of growing comfort with who they are as people, which
we all believe is the most important growth of all...
