Tara Orion and James Kinne met at an open mic night in central Connecticut in
2003. The chemistry of the two was undeniable from their very first open mic
ôjamö, and they were performing as a duo almost immediately - dubbing themselves
ôNothing About Groverö. Both were solo acoustic singer/songwriters working on
their separate projects, but Grover quickly took over as the top project for
both.

Realizing that Connecticut wasnÆt the area where they wanted to build this
project, the duo relocated to a house in the Green Mountains of Vermont. There
they set up a complete home studio, taking over 2 of the 3 bedrooms of the house
û and began work on their first CD. They also began to look for other players to
bring the project from a duo to a band.

Enter Jake Blodgett and Jim Bowen, two Vermont natives on the drums and bass.
They add a whole new element to the Nothing About Grover soundscape, and bring
the group closer to a more melodic rock sound.
