We are delighted to welcome Lormes to ICONYC Noir with his brand
new 'Constellations EP'. Lormes who needs no further
introduction has been a mainstay in the Berlin underground for
many years as part of the 50/80 Collective. On his debut for
Noir he treats us with an outstanding 2 tracker.
The EP kicks off with 'Blue Bliss' a grooving deep progressive
house roller fusing gentle chord stabs with subtle string
ensembles clinical percussion with a beautiful driving lead
line, a club inspired piece of house music. Lormes's trademark
beat manipulation is prevalent, as all manner of elements drift
in and out of earshot. Perfect for beat crazed dance floors and
to get you in the mood for a big night out.
Next up we have the title track 'Constellations', a melodic
techno influenced track, interspersing with roomy glowing love
and filtered stabs. Lormes manages to keep the energy up,
subtlety allowing the driving Berlin house feel to shine thru
over the many layers and textures to create a beautiful
soundscape, which beautifully leads into the drop to round off
this brilliant underground crowd pleaser. Need we say more?
Lormes has delivered a wonderful club EP to get any dancefloor
shaking having established his credentials in the motherland of
techno, he showcases his talents by taking them a step further,
displaying that there're no boundaries. This beautiful melodic
gem guides you to a deep driving, melodic hug of a release that
will leave you with many smile induced moments! Not to be
