██▓        ╗visual rules½ is a tool for the graphical modeling of           ██▓
██▓        business logic for Java and Cobol architectures. The             ██▓
██▓        business rules are developed separately from the                 ██▓
██▓        application logic in order to make them transparent and          ██▓
██▓        easy-to-change. ╗visual rules½ is the only tool of its           ██▓
██▓        kind providing flexible business logic for legacy-systems.       ██▓

██▓        ╗visual rules½ can be used as rule engine though it does         ██▓
██▓        not need a central rule machine since business rules are         ██▓
██▓        modeled in their context instead of interpreting them. 		        ██▓

██▓        Rules code is automatically generated from the models, as        ██▓
██▓        Java byte code or Cobol source code. The code can be             ██▓
██▓        integrated directly into the applications or optionally be       ██▓
██▓        deployed on an application server (as EJB). 		                   ██▓

██▓        ╗visual rules½ is available as plugin for Eclipse, for SAP       ██▓
██▓        NetWeaver and IBM Rational Software. The plugin is               ██▓
██▓        completely integrated into the IDEs, and e.g. uses their         ██▓
██▓        project repository. The models and the generated rules           ██▓
██▓        code with the application can be versioned with the              ██▓
