ACCU Ripper is a small-sized computer program (~2.6 MB) which
digitally grabs audic data from an audio CD rather than reading
tracks from the sound card, and saves them on your hard-disk. More
technically, it directly talks to your CD hardware via an ASPI
interface and save the tracks as single-compressed audio files
(mp3, wma, ogg etcà) by digitally reading the tracks you selected.
This process is generally known as æRIPPINGÆ.
