Release Notes:
"Soulja's Testimony," this is the debut album from Blakbeard and
the newly formed Iluzion Records. This has got to be one of the
hottest records in 2005. The production on this album is
incredible, with some of the best producers in San Diego, such as
Nemisick,Gee Mon, VMF and OFI. Blakbeard also has special
apperarances by Shan Dogg, Mariana and C.Me Rock, some of the top
artist on the San Diego music scene.
Blakbeard is a refreshing new artist with a hypnotic flow and
superb vocal delivery. He touches on everyday topics from a
street point of view, his story telling format places you in the
front row of this lyrical journey through the streets of
Southeast San Diego. Classic tracks like "Let me Explain" and
"Early Morning," to the hard hitting cuts like "Ghetto from the
Top" and "Mentally Sick," provide a unique balance to this
sixteen track testimony of a Soulja.
Blakbeard is currently working on a group album with
producer/rapper Nemisick and fellow group mate Shan Dogg, which
should be hitting stores later this year. Blakbeard is also
scheduled to perform on many upcoming tours and shoes nation wide
and overseas.
