Maybe you know Tony Joe White or not, but we all know his two most famous songs
- "Polk Salad Annie" and "Rainy Night In Georgia". "Homemade Ice Cream"
maintains the level of these great numbers. So soulful, sultry, lush and
full-bodied. Or as Tony Joe would say: "It's swampy".

"Homeade Ice Cream" was originally released by Warner Bros. in 1973 and was
co-produced by White and legendary Atlantic producer Tom Dowd. It's White's
sixth title and his third for Warner Bros. The recording was made on a small
scale, giving the music the space to breathe, one of the reasons for the
lifelike sound.
