Over and over we get e-mails asking us about Mr. Peter Funk. The main
question tends to be: Well who is he? The FUNK, as he calls himself
is a self proclaimed healer thru music. Originally from the deep
South, Mr. Funk moved to Pennsylvania, USA in the early 1990's,
where he first became intrigued by electronic music. Influenced
heavily by early Techno, Mr. Funk soon found himself creating music
no one could categorize. Since then he has continued to do his best
to blur the line between house & techno. Obviously his current music
is a prime example of this. Working in various music stores and
record shops he came to meet a few people who actually understood his
vision. Then, befriended by fellow PA resident Kevin Yost, Mr. Funk
found a place right at home with i! Records, where he could be his
reclusive self and just get on with his program of healing the world
thru Tech-House.
