For our 96th release, we've assembled an action packed double sided
disc involving a trio of the most exciting and cutting edge producers
in house music.The A side track comes courtesy of London based BMT
crew (a.k.a. Blu Mar Ten) who have previously graced LTJ Bukem's
legendary Good Looking imprint with their unique blend of lush
atmospheric drum and bass and soul drenched downtempo electronica. On
"Mace" their Guidance debut, the lads change musical directions and
prove that they can cut it on the toughest of house dancefloors as
well. Raw jackin chi town drum patterns, warped electro synth bleeps
and an infectious "Toot Toot Beep Beep " sample set a hypnotic tone
until BMT bring the noise! adding wave after wave of ruff, rugged,
rumbling bass tones, digital distortion and acid rain to create pure
mental mayhem. A bona fide body rocking anthem that fuses the raw
aggressive energy of industrial dance bands like Front 242 with the
uncut funk of a classic old school Chicago jack track. It's no
surprise that the man like Carl Cox is already caning this one on
acetate! The dancefloor action continues on the B side as man of the
moment 16B deliver a slamming remix of Abacus's Detroit Techno
classic "Black Thanks". Banging drums, otherworldly old school synths
and a relentless analog baseline combine to turn this track into a
spacious, driving futuristic tech house anthem. I likes my house
