█░█ Hands, entitled The Golden Touch, is aptly named. █░█
█░█ Showcasing HansonÆs angelic voice and █░█
█░█ immaculately styled warm-sounding folk music, the █░█
█░█ third album from These Hands is like your own █░█
█░█ personal tour into an audio diary of handsome █░█
█░█ indie-rock. █░█
█░█ █░█
█░█ The Golden Touch largely succeeds due to HansonÆs █░█
█░█ own musical aptitude. While the album showcases █░█
█░█ additional musicians (as can the live show), the █░█
█░█ bulk of the instrumentation is largely subject to █░█
█░█ Hanson's impetus. While live These Hands can █░█
█░█ range anywhere from a plaintive acoustic strum, █░█
█░█ to a rollicking swampy stomp, the album is █░█
█░█ heavily influenced by complex orchestration and █░█
█░█ percussive experimentation, while including a █░█
█░█ healthy dose of delicious indie-rock sensibility. █░█
█░█ Hanson himself plays a myriad of instruments, █░█
█░█ including guitar, bass, flute, violin, cello, and █░█
█░█ accordion. Coming across like a whirling dervish █░█
█░█ of multi-talents, in actuality Michael Hanson █░█
█░█ epitomizes the painfully modest artist. █░█

█░█ The other "golden touch" on the album are the █░█
█░█ vocals and delivery, which are at times slightly █░█
█░█ reminiscent of Robert Smith of The Cure. Armed █░█
█░█ with devastatingly disarming good looks, this boy █░█
█░█ is sure to incite a swoon in the audience as he █░█
