Azuli records are one of the uk's leading house labels. They are
always consistent, precise and reliable with their predictions for
the biggest tunes of the year. Here, on the miami wmc '06
promotional sampler, the team once again prove why they are so, damn
popular. From the outset this double pack is sizzling. Andy cato (of
groove armada fame), drops his electro-house anthem "la luna", this
is going to be essential listening come ibiza time!! "la luna", is
an all engrossing, real house tune. Complete with lush keys,
uplifiting synths, electro bass & added acid squelches. This is one
top tune. Swiftly following is "believe" by kai vs kered. This
simply bounces along with off beat bass, jangling percussion and a
great synth section that appears, disappears & then re-appears
once-more to carry the track along nicely. We think this could be a
very large track. Third to land on the deck is the uber-cool "i
wanna be", by shauna solomon. This was originally out years gone by
and was a popular track amongst our staff. Here the us
prog-maestro's, creamer & k, supply the nu-skool workout to set
dancefloors alight. Check out the mp3!! last but not least is
perhaps the more obvious over-ground hit to appear on this
doublepack. Jack shaft provides "move to the sound", this is hot,
heavy, rocking vocal house. Think bodyrockers "i like the way", with
a more credible edge and more uplifting. This record is crazily
hypnotic so be warned. So all in all we have to take our hats off to
azuli who really have outdone themselves yet again. Four great
tracks that we promise will grow & grow on you. This double pack is
very limited and we are predicting big things for it.
