The first of the Withhold dispatches arrives on our doorstep.
Information around this new project is very limited - all that we
know so far is that Withhold is rumoured to be something to do
with the Further Electronix imprint, and itÆs unclear which
artist(s) are behind the four tracks here. However, what we can
say for certain is that Withhold 01 is made up of retro-futurist
rave jams of the highest order. All of the tunes offer up hardcore
tunes of varying intensity - the EPs early joints situate
themselves more firmly in jungle territory, while later joints
channel the sparky revivalism of Star Eyes and Special Request.
