        :: Release Notes:
        ::
        :: Elmore James was one of the most influential and widely
        :: imitated post-war blues stylists. James developed a fully
        :: integrated style that was based upon, and extended, aspects
        :: of the earlier approach of the legendary Delta blues man
        :: Robert Johnson. Elmore's searing electric slide guitar
        :: adorned his powerful, deeply emotional vocals. Despite health
        :: problems, Elmore James continued to work until his death in
        :: May 1963, his music remains as fresh and exciting as it was
        :: in the early 50's when these 27 cuts were recorded. Proper.
        ::  2006.
