As soon as the needle hit the wax on "Too High To Move" I was having serious
'where do I know this from?' thoughts, and then realised that mailorder Kev has
had part of it as his ringtone for a few months now! That, and the fact that we
got sent a Quiet Village CDR a while back and have played it to death in the
shop! Anyway, I digress! What you have here is a sumptuous, atmospheric
piano-laden slo-mo soul track with a female spoken vocal telling the story of a
woman and her good-for-nothing man (no amount of googling has found me what this
is!). It's a real burner that eats its way into your brain (especially when
heard as a ringtone ten times a day!). On the flip is the chugging Balearic
instrumental "Drax" which is all synth washes and extended chord pads - a real
bit of blissful downtempo music.
