| El Camino is the poster boy for growth as an artist, this time last |
| year, coming off his self-titled release, he showed elements of raw |
| talent and an ear for beats but his approach needed some polish. He |
| evidently put in the "10,000 hours" to refine his talent which |
| showed on "Walk on Water", one of my favs from last year and this |
| new LP is a continuation of the process. The chosen soundscape is |
| dynamic as well as dark, the whole BSF team is leveling up, the |
| production, the sequencing, the mixing is on a classic level. As an |
| Emcee, El Camino has really found his voice and his pen game is no |
| joke these days, that being said, I'm betting on the young rhymer |
| to access yet another gear as his career progresses. Enough can't |
| be said about the whole upstate movement, the quality of work from |
| that region is gonna go down legendary when it's all said and done |
| and this project will be in that conversation. |
