     Trihornophone

     Bill Blackmore - trumpet
     Sean Og - alto saxophone/composer
     Kelan Walsh - baritone saxophone
     Dennis Cassidy - drum kit

Trihornophone is a new quartet dedicated to performing
original, new music written for trumpet, two saxophones and a
drum kit. Composer Sean Og has liberally taken influences from
Pop, European Folk and the Avant-Garde along with developments
in contemporary jazz remolding them over a rhythmic bed of
bouncing rhythms and odd meter grooves.
Their pop-orientated three minute tunes underline a playful
approach to improvised music, while the unusual
instrumentation yields new timbres and textures; a unique
format these accomplished musicians handle with creativity and
     personality.
