              Life is just a series of random events
              that lead us to some goal. But are they
              so random if before you sent the right
              signal to the universe? In the winter
              of 2020, Vakula learned to play the
              harbor and wondered where his life and
              career would go. Randomly, rapper MC
              Fame, a member of the Kachevniki group,
              responded to his announcement of the
              sale of a reel tape recorder. Formal
              conversation quickly turned to the
              point. 'We decided to record the first
              g-funk album in Ukraine,' recalls
              Vakula. A longtime fan of Q-Tip and J
              Dilla beatmakers, Vakula unexpectedly
              for many changed analog synthesizers to
              the AKAI sampler and drum machine - a
              gentlemanly set of any hip-hop
              producer. 'I went down to the low
              vibrations of rap music, temporarily
              changed my image and even my
              vocabulary,' Vakula shares. 'G-funk
              album' itself grew into an album
              dedicated to all the black music of the
              past: from jazz and funk to hip-hop and
              soul. Like a movie actor, Vakula
              quickly got used to a new image and
              easily allowed completely new people
              into his world. So the album Vakula &
              Friends appeared.
