║║ audience. understandably, the whole notion of "fusion" causes some ║║
║║ concern today, it can be anything from epitome of naffness to the ║║
║║ blueprint for the "future-funk" generation. however azymuth are somehow ║║
║║ immune to such debate, their music being born out of the wellspring of ║║
║║ brazilian music in the late sixties, where it became natural to mix and ║║
║║ match disparate elements. azymuth's music was never a self conscious ║║
║║ attempt at modernity, it was a natural evolution for a bunch of ║║
║║ musicians, who having mastered their own traditions and the nuances of ║║
