        Nginx can be used to greatly enhance the performance of a
        website or application when used to serve static assets to the browser. This
        course demonstrates current issues with typical setups (for
        example, Apache) and compares performance with an Nginx setup, showing
        decreased load times and decreased server resource usage. The
        remainder of the course covers how to install and configure
        Nginx to perform the role of a reverse proxy, along with specific
        examples of common site infrastructure, such as a WordPress install, and how
        to configure Nginx for this type of setup.
