       │ Part of a dual release with the RH Factor's Distractions,    ││
       │ this Quintet recording kicks off with Leo Quintero's         ││
       │ sizzling title track and the upbeat tempo continues          ││
       │ throughout with such songs as Burno's "Devil Eyes" and       ││
       │ Matthews' driving "Salima's Dance."  Hargrove takes over the ││
       │ composing duties with his beautiful "Trust," the fiery       ││
       │ "Camaraderie," and the multi-textured "The Gift."            ││
       │                                                              ││
       │ The works showcase a tight yet fluid jazz quintet and        ││
       │ Hargrove's impeccable playing.  Legendary trombonist Slide   ││
       │ Hampton appears on three of the disc's tracks including his  ││
       │ composition "A Day in Viennaö which he also arranged.        ││
       │                                                              ││
       │ Nothing Serious was produced by Hargrove and Larry Clothier  ││
       │ and was engineered and mixed by 15-time GRAMMY-winner Al     ││
       │ Schmitt.                                                     ││

       │ Hargrove will continue to perform and tour with both groups  ││
       │ following the dual releases of Distractions and Nothing      ││
       │ Serious.                                                     ││
