funk allstars were one of the groups that started it all on the
ninja tunes label. this album is a melting pot of dirty funk, acid
jazz, hip-hop flavour, and dubby breakbeats. unfortunatly they
never released another album after this 1996 gem, and you've got to
wonder why...
