Release Notes:
Andy Cato is by now a man who should need little
introduction. As one half of Groove Armada, the
biggest selling live dance act in the UK, he has sold
1.75 million albums including 7 gold albums worldwide
and played live concerts to 2 million people in 26
countries in 2004 alone.
Their highly acclaimed and universally recognised
music has appeared in over 50 films, 35 adverts and
over 500 times on television - including the hugely
successful Renault Megane campaign - "I See You Baby
(Shakin' that Ass)".
Here we find Andy Cato on a solo nocturnal outing. On
æLa LunaÆ he builds a funky samba groove into a house
tempo shuffle before it gets hi-jacked by powerful
bass stabs and shimmering atmospheric piano keys. "La
Luna" Dub Pass takes on a deeper, tunnel driven vibe
whilst "La Luna" beats provides a stripped down
percussive workout for the more adventurous DJs.
