In an increasingly packed dancefloor marketplace, it seems miraculous that
micro-labels like Sportclub can reproduce with almost alarming rapidity, and
their survival, proliferation even, proceeds with the weight of inevitability.
So i'm mighty encouraged, after Axel Bartsch's excellent surprise stealth hit on
Kompakt a fortnight or so ago crept up on us all, to discover the quality levels
are right up there on this latest twelve. Bratsch's offering is one of those
orbiting subtle movers for seeing in the sun discretely. Zeiger though really
kills us with one of those foured up, square bass warehouse pillagers we're
holding so dear this year. Until Claro intelecto's next mindblowing instalments
in his Warehouse sessions series for house favourites Modern Love, this could
keep you going just nicely.
