│ █ Vibert ( Wagon Christ, Plug ) alongside the
│ █ rhyming of Asylum, Str8jakit Bandit and Charles
│ █ Moopowe present the listener with a story rhyme in
│ █ the tradition of the classics. Orphaned indentical
│ █ twins Peter and Paul decide to murder their
│ █ adoptive parents for the life insurance money. But
│ █ having carried out this task, their evil natures
│ █ turn on each other...Lovingly detailed and darkly
│ █ comic, with a complex flow and striking rhymes,
│ █ the two voices are backed by a bassy, mournful
│ █ tune and vicious scratching.

│ █ Asylum make up one half of Birmingham super - crew
│ █ MSI & asylum. When their first album "Takez Time"
│ █ was released last year the group was hailed as a
│ █ british answer to the Wu Tang Clan. Bandit lived
│ █ in the USA for a number of years, where he
│ █ performed with Doz Funky Bastards, but decided to
│ █ move back to this country permanetely after
│ █ hearing MSI rock a show. A second MSI & Asylum
│ █ album should be out in the Autumn.

│ █ Luke Vibert is one of Britain's most talented
│ █ maverick producers. Hailing from Cornwall and a
│ █ childhood friend of the Aphex Twin's, he has
│ █ produced ambient - techno noodlings ( Vibert &
│ █ Simmons ), light, funky, woozy instrumental hip
│ █ hop ( Wagon Christ ) and downright odd drum and
│ █ bass ( Plug ). His album for Mo' Wax is due out in
│ █ July 1997 and he has a deal with Virgin for
│ █ forthcoming Wagon Christ material.
│ █ However, his first love has always been hip hop
│ █ and he leapt at the chance to work with rappers on
│ █ both this record and Asylum's "Gemini Twins". //
