│║ Most people associate Minne Riperton with her #1 hit; "Lovin' ║│
│║ You", (Sang in tv show SouthPark ;) ho ho ). This compilation are ║│
│║ from her earlier years on the "legendary" Chess Label. She was ║│
│║ First singin in a R&B group called The Gems and was backing ║│
│║ artists like Etta James, Little Milton and Jackie Ross. In 1966 ║│
│║ The group split up and Minne continued to record on her own ║│
│║ (under the alias Andrea Davis) the song "Lonely Girl" was a local ║│
│║ hit in Chicago 1966. Minnie left the R&B to join the psychedelic ║│
│║ rock/soul group called Rotary Connection... ║│
│║ (All recordings recorded between 1964 - 1971) ║│
