This is a recording of Wave-Lox is Lubomyr Melnyk's live performance at the
Fylkingen Centre for New Music in Stockholm. This is a direct digital copy
made from the original 4-channel master tape, which contained both
pre-recorded Piano-A- and live Piano-B-. The piano used was a Bluthner concert
grand piano, in original condition, made ca. 1933 in Leipzig, Germany.
These pianos had the special feature of a 4th "resonance-string" for
the upper region which added to the overtone quality of the instrument.

The Eastern Horn is a short excerpt from a live dance performance at Sochaux,
Switzerland in 1983 with the Kilina Cremona Dance Company of Lyon France, and is
a corollary piece built on Wave-Lox piano sections, with 3 contra-bass sections
added.
