Aftertech Records forty-ninth release
Fractal Architect has already been on our radar for a while now,
with releases on many established labels in the melodic techno
scene, he has now found his way onto Aftertech Records. This
melodic genius delivered two massive tracks accompanied by two
great remixes by Frederik Wiesener and Ras Algethi.
Fractal Architect - Calliope
In Calliope a heavy bassline and crispy hihats make for a strong
opening. His mix of ethereal and African sounds, blend
beautifully with the strong relentless beat. Somehow this
architect designed a sense of euphoria in this track which just
wants to make you smile more and more the further you get into
this magical voyage. What a masterpiece!
Fractal Architect - Saoirse
A sweet and subtle tom hops along airy hats and a roomy
percussion. Then slowly nebulous pads and captivating plucks are
introduced, creating a unique soundscape. Halfway power comes in
through a profound low bass and a subtle ethereal arpeggio. This
classical build up works wonders in Saoirse. An intriguing track
by Fractal Architect!
Fractal Architect - Calliope (Ras Algethi Remix)
Ras Algethi honoured the unique setting Fractal Architect has
created in Calliope but made it a bit more tribal feeling. His
jaunty melodies and strong percussions move towards the break
where you are in for a surprise. A wonderful play with the
stereo sound and an epic screaming lead grab the attention.
Tying the second half of the track together in pure bliss. What
a journey by Ras Algethi!
Fractal Architect - Saoirse (Frederik Wiesener Remix)
Frederik made a bit more progressive up-tempo version of
Saoirse. In which he cleverly melts heavenly plucks, and
ethereal soundscapes together that bring you further into this
dreamlike track. Once the bombastic trumpets come to show the
trip reaches its climax. A great job by Frederik Wiesener!
