Seba Campos serves up a generous dose of sun-drenched,
Latin American flavoured grooves. The stimulation of their
tropical elements flows through the body and the mind with a
momentum that is reminiscent of the various layers of a
cocktail dancing upon one another, surrounded by the
sparkling beads of water on the glass around them. Just like
in this cocktail analogy all different elements are equally
important and they multiply into one intoxicating
experience: The vocal in Amiki Miñongo is just as compelling
as the drums played by the percussionist of Die
Fantastischen Vier and Calvimetro, the lively guitar chords
in Canto Al Sol are just as stimulating as the Downbeat
bassline, the weightless echos in Pájaros are just as catchy
as the vigorous rhythms of this track. Such a versatile and
international kind of sound makes Mollono.Bass an obvious
choice for the complementary remix, which he built around a
dubby, percussive vibe.
