▌░ packing two new cuts; ÆStravinskyÆ and æLockdownÆ Perhaps ░▐
▌░ more one for completists than anyone looking for a proper Eno ░▐
▌░ album, æSpinnerÆ features a mix of unscathed and overlaid ░▐
▌░ material, with Wobble leaving some parts as they were, while ░▐
▌░ really over-egging it in a spacey ambient jazz-funk style ░▐
▌░ edging on Red Snapper territory in others. At its best, there ░▐
▌░ are some genuinely enchanting works to be found in the ░▐
▌░ opiated arabesque æLike OrganzaÆ, with WobbleÆs signature ░▐
▌░ bass sunk under mesmerising synth/organ harmonies, and again ░▐
▌░ in the Muslimgauze-meets-Mad Professor styles of æLeft It ░▐
▌░ Where It FellÆ, but for every one of those thereÆs a bit of ░▐
▌░ dodgy æ90s ambient-dub chuff to sidestep. ░▐
