From an interview with the man himself:
Timber Up:
We wanted the album to have more jazzy beginning after which the
music starts to go towards a more funky vibe. That's how Teppo's
tunes 'Timber Up' and 'Duudamdej' got on the album. We needed
electric bass on Duudamdej to add a more funky vibe and Timo Hirvonen
came along. Really nice tunes both of them.
Kulo:
I wanted to have a tune with a kind of 60's Blue Note vibe in it.
That's 'Kulo'. It was recorded 'live' meaning that the whole band
played at the same time and nothing was added later. I like the kind
of hypnotic riff sax and alto flute play on it.

appear on the full length album.
