|   |  Sherard Ingram has had one of the most interesting and mysterious  |   |
|   |  careers in Detroit's musical history, spearheading a               |   |
|   |  free-floating project that has at one time or another featured     |   |
|   |  the likes of Carl Craig, Anthony Shakir and Moodymann in its       |   |
|   |  line-up and in recent years has been best known for his spinning   |   |
|   |  moniker Drexciyan DJ Stingray. Urban Tribe have had seminal        |   |
|   |  releases fostered by the likes of Retroactive (the seminal         |   |
|   |  'Covert Action'),Planet E and classic Mo' Wax, and Sherard here    |   |
|   |  at last delivers his long-awaited 12" debut for Rephlex, with a    |   |
|   |  full-length album set to follow shortly. The music itself is just  |   |
|   |  classic Detroit, with a spacious aquatic arrangement a la          |   |
|   |  Drexciya for 'RNA World' and a much more disjointed, mashed-up     |   |
|   |  and fearless blend of Ultradyne-esque spasms for the title track   |   |
|   |  and 'Class Warfare. Seriously good - bring on the album.           |   |
