In the year of 2000, Umka began his career as a producer,
determined to learn the organic flow of electricity, and how to
coax it into soul-cleansing compositions. He spent years
learning the ropes by creating bootleg remixes of his favourite
artists, spending countless hours and hours in the studio, and
putting literally everything else on hold until he was a capable
producer. Steadily nipping at the heels of his peers and
predecessors, Aaron's production skills have not been going
unnoticed. He has managed to pull the resources of a fit
musical lab together, where almost all of the day is spent on
the mother ship accessing proper frequencies for all. Currently
Umka is working on several movie projects and artist albums, and
this 'Eden Motion' artist album is a musical treat. 'Catcher'
has a darker more ominous tone, and with the abstractive
melodies in 'Kitchen Records', Umka carries colourful expressive
instruments and tones. This album is filled with deep house
essential grooves, and with international DJ support from the
likes of Danny Howells, David Morales, Luciano, and many more -
this is top shelf musicality right here throughout.
