Scotch Rocks is a Boston based rock quartet. These four friends were destined to
play music together (and have been, in one form or another, for many years).
Matt Ferrel and Chris Canney bonded over their distaste for gym class in junior
high and began to play music together. Jordan met Chris and Chris in a
songwriting class during her first semester at Bard College. Her first
assignment: write a song with Chris Canney. The collaboration has lasted six
years. From their sweet harmonies to anthemic choruses, Scotch Rocks walks the
line between melancholy rock and indie pop, throwing in sonic surprises along
the way.
