Winging its way round the world from New Zealand comes this SUPERB
funk 45 from Opensouls. "Turn It Up!" is a total killer with a
strong vocal from singer (and writer of the track) Tyra Hammond,
backed by the Opensouls band who create a fat soul-funk sound
filled with keys, guitar, trumpet, sax, trombone and backing vocals
too. "What Do You Do?" will appeal more of you funky b-boys and
girls out there, with its scratchy turntablism and rap from Bjorn
Peterson. Both tracks were then sent over to LA for final mixing
and mastering by Dave Cooly at Bionic for extra authentic sound.
