Anatomically speaking, "Lava Lava" grows from a sleek
arrangement. But once you hit the play button the bite of
the kickdrum, the seismic rumble of the bassline and the
fulminant orchestral thrust of the instrumental samples work
together like the cogs and gears inside a clock. Needless to
say, the result is rather explosive and compelling - which
goes for both the original version and the rolling big-room
remix of Stephan Zovsky, who's out on a mission to blow some
minds again. And The Glitz don't leave it at that: "Dandy
Doorhole" is raising the stakes even higher. This tune
exists between the perfidious boost of its bassline and the
glittering showers of its open hi hats and hurls any
dancefloor to the next level - a level oddly reminiscent of
a spaced-out computer game. The remix comes from an old
friend of 3000Grad: Mathias Kaden. This grand master of
beats, bass and pressure delivers a version that is just as
feverish and ecstatic, but that draws its energy from the
irresistible groove that is the hallmark of this veteran
producer.
