This is the first single from the long-awaited Hefner album and the
his first release to feature a vocalist. DIVE INTO YOU features the
voice and lyrics of Bristol-based singer/songwriter JosΘe. Together
they have written several songs which are included on the
forthcoming Hefner album. Musically this song sets its own agenda -
you won't have heard anything quite like this. There has been much
talk of "21st Century Soul" in the media and this is what we at
Inertia think it might sound like. Its not R'n'B, jazz, garage,
techno or pop but elements of all these can be heard in it. Its
mid-tempo and fairly sparse by Hefner standards but his unique
stylings are in full effect.
