RELEASE NOTES:
From press release:
"Shadow of the Beat is one of multiple projects
from the many brains of Norwegian Gisle Martens
Meyer, usually associated for his Ugress project.
Shadow's music has a dark organic edge, with
demanding details and countless layers to get lost
in. Shadow is the questionable and relentless
scientist, in his hidden lab, endeavouring into the
nanolevels of sound, sequencing and programming.
Originally the first Shadow album was to be
released shortly after the first Ugress album in
2002, but it turned out to be a lot of work with
Ugress. So Shadow was postponed, and even thou
Ugress demanded a lot of time, Shadow was never
forgotten. Finally Gisle Martens Meyer created his
own record company Uncanny Planet Records in 2006,
and Nanokaravan was released in May 2006."
