the Raycord compound with his groundbreaking 15 track artist
album 'Le Hiver Blanc'. Notoriously journalist-shy, Raycord
truly lives his music, composing in the forest with a beautiful
studio and an accomplished session musician. Leave it to his
record 'Le Hiver Blanc' to inform us of his politics, his
preferred abandonments, and the ill winds that blow through the
purple-heathered glen.
This whole album is truly a slowly revolving pastiche of
minimalist melodies and Eno/Lanois ambience. Wonderfully moody,
heavy with different instrumentation, real drumming (goodbye
quantized drums), soulful deep relaxing music that appeases true
