Release Notes:
Stage Invader is the debut album from label mate
and friend of Mylo - Linus Love.
The album is a heady mix, embalmed with the
hedonism, nonchalance and emotionalism of the
eighties, from the steely pulse of the
kennedy-penned 'Night Music' for a state of the art
midnight club track; to 'One More Chance',
featuring the vocals of Dan Whitford of Cut Copy,
connecting ultra-poppy eighties emotionalism with a
driving electro bedrock.
On 'Baby I'm Amazed', Linus resurrects
retro-futurstic analogue arpeggios with punch-drunk
808 snare patterns.
Meanwhile 'Rock Chk' manages to connect a line
between Kraftwerk and Fleetwood Mac, whilst
capturing the spirit of both.
