|   |   He started his music career in 1990. In 1995 he       |   |
|   |   founded Sonic Groove label. With his brother Frankie  |   |
|   |   Bones he also started Groove Records record shop      |   |
|   |   specialized in techno genre.                          |   |
|   |   The Groove Records team would also take part in       |   |
|   |   organizing the first techno events to ever take       |   |
|   |   place in NYC, including the Storm Rave that started   |   |
|   |   in 1991. Storm Rave was the first all-techno          |   |
|   |   warehouse parties organized on the East Coast of      |   |
|   |   America and the lineup included many artists who      |   |
|   |   would go on to become global techno popular figures.  |   |

|   |                                                         |   |
|   |   Acid Archives 92-94 may document a bygone era of      |   |
|   |   warehouse partying, but Adam X gives off the air of   |   |
|   |   timelessness here, making the arms race to produce    |   |
|   |   faster, harder and stronger joints a project worth    |   |
|   |   revisiting. It follows that the likes of æOctane      |   |
|   |   PropellantÆ fit the bill perfectly, as do many of     |   |
|   |   these tracks; a downright nasty sequenced bass        |   |
|   |   drives each one in an exponentially accelerating      |   |
|   |   volley with its manic drum programming.               |   |
