Rasiyah served her apprenticeship providing backing
vocals for some of broken beat's most influential
producers (DKD, Colonel Red, Domu etc.), plus
taking centre stage on Only Freak's marvellous
"Can't Get Away". Produced by her mentor Mark De
Clive-Lowe, this two-tracker for Antipodeon is set
to propel her forward in her own right. "U Better
Run" is a soul song that captures the serene,
relaxed beauty of a Jill Scott song with a little
bruk sumthin' sumthin' besides. Even more laidback
is "Untitled (My Love)", which incorporates Izzi
Dunn's strings for some extra drama. Also includes
both instrumentals.
